The first part of the day’s speakers included our own Pietro De Angelis, within his speech, emphasized how at this stage it is important to place the raising of cyber defenses at the center of the strategies of both public and private realities, so as to subvert data that, on the whole, still do not smile on our country

As a result, it is crucial to raise awareness among SMEs and Public Administrations to assess and improve their security posture, especially for entities engaged in digitization projects that inevitably enlarge the attack surface."

The risks of AI and a call for Digital Transformation.

The second part of the day was dedicated to the heart of Edih PRIDE, namely the possibilities offered by services delivered through Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and High Performance Computing.
In this context, Netgroup President Giuseppe Mocerino went into the specifics of some challenges

"Artificial intelligence offers extraordinary potential but its risks must also be understood. We live in a historical phase in which there is bulimia of information and in which an increasing slice of that information is being derived by Generative AI algorithms. What's more, there are an estimated 7 billion digital accounts in the world, generating an additional huge amount of data. Regarding cybersecurity, there is an illusion that finding the "experts" is enough to solve the problems of businesses. This is not the case: what is needed is a cultural transformation and for governments and politicians to work to ensure digital data sovereignty. PRIDE is an enabling project that, with support from MiMit and the EU, aims precisely to achieve this necessary cultural and digital transformation."
