Personal data processed while browsing the site are intended for the following purposes:
- to the proper technical operation of the site, in fulfillment of the public interest tasks assigned to the Owner by the current legislation;
- to the management of requests for information received from visitors through the completion of the appropriate electronic forms on the pages of the site, or through the email addresses of the offices and/or staff of Netgroup S.p.A., in fulfillment of the tasks of public interest assigned to the Owner by current legislation.
- Browsing Data
The IT systems and software procedures used for the ordinary operation of this website acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. - Authorized persons, data processors and recipients of personal data
Personal data are processed by employees of Netgroup S.p.A. previously authorized for processing and specially instructed and trained. Both navigation data and data voluntarily provided by the user using the contact forms on the site, or by writing email messages to the published addresses, may be communicated to external parties formally appointed by Netgroup S.p.A. as Data Processors and belonging to the following categories:
- Companies that provide maintenance services for the Site and computer systems;
- Companies that provide telematic communications services and, especially, electronic mail;
- Companies that perform management and maintenance services for the Owner’s databases.
- Period of data retention
With reference to the browsing data collected for the purpose mentioned in point 3, num. 1, except as provided for in the cookie policy, they are kept only for the session of use of the website. With reference to the data processed for the purpose mentioned in point 3, num. 2, personal data are kept for a period of time not exceeding the time necessary to carry out the process of handling the request. Thereafter, the data will be stored until the statute of limitations prescribed by law with reference to individual actionable rights. After these terms, the data will be anonymized or deleted, unless its retention is necessary for other and different purposes provided for by express provision of law. - Nature of data provision and consequences of failure to provide data
For the purpose of point 3, num. 1, the provision of data is necessary and non-optional.
For the purpose of point 3, num. 2, the provision of data is necessary with reference to the form fields marked with an asterisk (*), while it is optional for all other fields. Failure to provide the necessary data means that the visitor’s request cannot be forwarded or followed up. Failure to provide the optional data may result in a less precise and circumstantial response, or greater difficulty in being able to contact the Interested Party again for more details regarding the request.
- Transfer of data to non-EU countries
Netgroup S.p.A. may use, also through its Data Processors, IT service and telematic communications companies and, in particular, telematic platforms, which could also place or transit the data in countries outside the European Economic Area.
These service companies are selected on the basis of their certifications and declarations regarding reliability, security and compliance with national and European regulations on the processing of personal data. In particular, in order to ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data, these Companies may implement the transfer only to Countries (or sectors thereof) that have been subject to specific adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission, or on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission.
