Personal data processed during site navigation are intended for the following purposes:
- the correct technical functioning of the site, in fulfillment of the public interest tasks assigned to the Controller by current legislation;
- the management of requests for information received from visitors through the completion of the appropriate electronic forms on the site pages, or via the email addresses of the offices and/or staff of Netgroup S.p.A., in fulfillment of the public interest tasks assigned to the Controller by current legislation.
- Browsing Data
The IT systems and software procedures used for the ordinary operation of this website acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. - Authorized persons, Data Processors, and Recipients of personal data
Personal data are processed by employees of Netgroup S.p.A. previously authorized for processing and specifically instructed and trained. Both navigation data and those voluntarily provided by the user using the contact forms on the site, or by writing email messages to the published addresses, may be communicated to external parties formally appointed by Netgroup S.p.A. as Data Processors and belonging to the following categories:
- companies providing maintenance services for the Site and IT systems;
- companies providing electronic communication services and, in particular, email services;
- companies performing management and maintenance services for the Controller’s databases.
- Data retention period
With reference to navigation data collected for the purpose referred to in point 3, no. 1, except as provided by the cookie policy, they are kept only for the website usage session. With reference to data processed for the purpose referred to in point 3, no. 2, personal data are kept for a period of time no longer than necessary to carry out the request management process. Subsequently, the data will be archived until the statute of limitations provided for by law with reference to individual actionable rights. Once these terms have expired, the data will be anonymized or deleted, unless their retention is necessary for other and different purposes provided for by express provision of law. - Nature of data provision and consequences of any failure to provide data
For the purpose referred to in point 3, no. 1, the provision of data is necessary and not optional.
For the purpose referred to in point 3, no. 2, the provision of data is necessary with reference to the form fields marked with an asterisk (*), while it is optional for all other fields. Failure to provide the necessary data makes it impossible to forward the visitor’s request or follow up on it. Failure to provide optional data could result in a less precise and detailed response, or greater difficulty in being able to contact the Data Subject for more details regarding the request.
- Transfer of data to non-EU countries
Netgroup S.p.A. may use, also through its Data Processors, IT and electronic communication service companies and, in particular, electronic platforms, which could place or transit data even in countries not belonging to the European Economic Area.
These service companies are selected on the basis of their certifications and their declarations regarding reliability, security, and compliance with national and European legislation on the processing of personal data. In particular, in order to guarantee an adequate level of protection of personal data, these Companies can implement the transfer only to countries (or sectors thereof) that have been the subject of specific adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission, or on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission.
