TATS (Time And Temperature Sensitive) materials monitoring, especially in the automotive and aerospace industries, is crucial as the physical characteristics of items produced from that raw material depend on it.
The challenge involves both logistical and infrastructural aspects: for example, the need to refrigerate entire industrial warehouses at temperatures of tens of degrees below zero; above all, however, it is a technological and process challenge that takes the form of constant and precise monitoring of so-called display units. We have developed an innovative solution using custom IoT sensors for real-time monitoring of time- and temperature-sensitive materials (TATS). These sensors, applied to composite material rolls, enable accurate location tracking and temperature sensing. The data is communicated in real time to a customized Netgroup application, enabling constant and automatic control of the materials. This leads to improved production quality and reduced scrap due to increased accuracy and process automation.
