PRIDE | AI and Advanced Cybersecurity for Businesses
The Regional Hub for Advanced Digital Innovation (PRIDE) is an initiative aimed at promoting the digital transition of Campania’s socio-economic system, with particular reference to SMEs operating in regional strategic sectors (Aerospace, Automotive, Rail Transport, Fashion Supply Chain, Agri-food, Energy-Environment, and Healthcare) and local public administration, through the adoption of advanced digital technologies included in the Digital Europe Programme (AI, HPC, CS) in competitive development pathways, product/process/organizational innovation, and management efficiency, also in combination with enabling technologies.
PRIDE is one of the 13 Italian European Digital Innovation Hubs funded by the European Commission. Its mission is to ensure the digital transition of the industrial system in regional strategic sectors, supporting local public administration and public service providers.
Coordinated by Campania Digital Innovation Hub – Rete Confindustria Scarl, in the role of lead partner, EDIH PRIDE is formed by the MedItech Consortium – Mediterranean Competence Center 4 Innovation, CERICT – Regional Center of Competence in ICT, and ICAR – Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking of CNR.
Netgroup, among the founders of Digital Innovation Hub Campania and partner of the MedItech Competence Center, participates in the project by offering its services and expertise in AI, HPC, and Cybersecurity.
This project aims to:
- Facilitate the digital transformation of regional industries;
- Support local public administration in the modernization of services;
- Promote the adoption of advanced technologies among public service providers.

EDIH PRIDE is committed to developing support interventions for the territory through the adoption of advanced digital technologies provided by the Digital Europe Programme: artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and cybersecurity.
- Testing and experimentation: with the support of Industry 4.0 experts and mastery of enabling technologies, EDIH PRIDE offers companies access to expertise, know-how, and digital transformation services. These include laboratories and experimental facilities for Proof of Concept and validation testing at the highest technological levels.
- Training and digital skills development: in addition to testing services, EDIH PRIDE provides training and digital skills development for SMEs and Public Administration. We offer experts and courses on enabling technologies to increase the productivity and competitiveness of the territory;
- Development of the regional digitalization ecosystem: to stimulate demand for digital innovation processes by SMEs and Public Administration, EDIH PRIDE promotes the strengthening of the Campania digital innovation ecosystem. We offer:
- Industry 4.0 assessment services and digital maturity analysis;
- Needs analysis and tailor-made 4.0 strategies with technological and organizational solutions;
- Brokerage, matching, networking services, and dissemination of digitalization best practices.
- Financial instruments for innovation: we support the digital transformation processes of SMEs and Public Administration through assistance and consulting services for access to facilitation and financing instruments. We collaborate with qualified financial operators, already active in the Invest EU program, to facilitate access to financial services and investment opportunities. Additionally, we develop acceleration programs for startups and innovative SMEs.
During the implementation of the PRIDE project, both free and paid services will be provided. Paid services will be valued at market price or at a lower value if related to the contributions granted to the Hub, always in compliance with state aid ceilings.
Upon completion of the project, PRIDE will operate according to market logic, ensuring access to the services provided and available infrastructures in an open manner to all users and under transparent conditions.
