Knowledge for Business, Sviluppo Campania and ENEA &#8211; EEN Bridg\u20acconomies Consortium, was held in collaboration with the Campania Region &#8211; Department of Research, Innovation and Start up.<\/p><p>The event, held at Villa Doria D&#8217;Angri (Naples), represents Southern Italy&#8217;s premier innovation-themed event.<\/p><p>Netgroup actively participated in this important two-day event dedicated to networking among research, business, PA, startups, professionals and associations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div first day of the Innovation Village, the event &#8220;AI and Generative Models: misuse and bias&#8221; was held. The discussion was attended by leading professionals in the field, so as to promote a constructive and as wide-ranging discussion as possible on these highly topical issues, mainly concerning misconceptions about the increasingly widespread use of chatbots, generative models and artificial intelligence systems. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>The conference was also an opportunity for our Angelo Falvo, BU Head of IT Application Development, to tell how the concept of ethics is declined by Netgroup with respect to the world of ICT:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0af2400 elementor-widget elementor-widget-testimonial\" data-id=\"0af2400\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"testimonial.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-testimonial-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-testimonial-content\">\"In our R&amp;D labs we are continuously experimenting with new technologies, and we have had the opportunity to test them in the field with various customers, mainly related to the Public, Industrial and Defense worlds.\nThe main strands involve the application of Artificial Intelligence to Predictive Maintenance, to enable automated logic for pro-active monitoring of plant and machinery; to Quality Control, for automated verification of the quality requirements of a given Asset; and to Cybersecurity, to provide information regarding possible cyber attacks with speed and efficiency by leveraging artificial intelligence algorithms with a reactive and predictive approach.\nAs a company committed to the innovation of emerging technologies, we recognize the importance of carefully considering the ethical implications of our products and services.\nWe believe that AI offers many opportunities to improve our daily lives, but at the same time we know that improper or irresponsible use of AI can have negative consequences for society.\nFor this reason, we have adopted a set of ethical principles that guide our work in AI, in particular transparency, impartiality, security, resiliency (reliability\/robustness of models), and privacy, for each of which we have obtained a specific certification as an additional guarantee for our clients.
